This may be the last soccer update. Each week it gets more and more difficult to find a way to say both teams lost again. Both teams lost by a wide margin this week. It has really been a long time since the kids were on a winning team. They enjoy playing so much, though. I know Lauren plays for the social aspect of it. I took a couple pictures of Lauren playing and some even turned out. John was at Jason's game and couldn't really take any pictures due to his whole coaching thing. Maybe next week.

Congratulations Lauren and Jason, on a well played season! We say any team that wears black and yellow are winners!
Maddie wore yellow and black this season too! When she was 8 or 9 she had a team that struggled and it wasn't fun to lose but she learned a lot from it. She worked harder at her game and she learned how to find enjoyment from the process even if the outcome wasn't what she wanted it to be. Your kids have shown a lot of dedication and character - that is something much more valuable than a column of W's at the end of the season. I'm proud of both of them.
