For the second year in a row, we started out Thanksgiving by running in the 3 mile Torrance Turkey Trot. John blew us all out of the water with his time of 22:37. Lauren came in next at around 26 minutes. My time was not note-worthy, at a couple minutes over last year's time, and Jason had to walk most of the race due to a twisted ankle. He did run half of the first and last miles, though, and came in right around 42 minutes. I gave extra credit to my students that ran for PE so it was fun to see several of them there. Now we feel justified to overeat today because we already worked it off. We wish you all a happy Thanksgiving.

What a great way to kick off Thanksgiving. It was wet and cold here. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
I would not have finished the race until today...yes...Saturday! I'm proud of all of you and hope you enjoyed the rest of your Thanksgiving!
Your Thanksgiving clothes and my Thanksgiving clothes do not match. You have shorts and beautiful sunshine. I have pants and boots and a scarf and a coat and...let's trade next year :) Congrats on the run!
